Regional Center for Biotechnology Training and Education

The Regional Center for Biotechnology Training and Education(RCB) was established in New Delhi, India, on July 14, 2006. It is a category II institution under the auspices of UNESCO. The mission of the RCB is to provide a platform for biotechnology education, training and research in biotechnology.. The center's program aims to create opportunities for students to engage in interdisciplinary research, learn Biotechnology Science while learning engineering technology, medicine and science, so as to provide solutions for human&animal health, agriculture and environmental technology. The vision is to generate tailored human resources to drive biotechnology innovation, especially in new opportunities, and to fill the talent gap in insufficient areas.
