 of Girls and Women in Africa


非洲国际女童和妇女教育国际中心(CIEFFA)自2004年以来一直是非洲联盟的一个专门机构,于2005年在大会第三十三届会议上成为联合国教科文组织的二类机构,其中心设在中心设在布基纳法索的瓦加杜古。其目标是

①制定必要的政策、方针、战略和指导,以帮助所有的利益相关方解决两性平等与公平问题;

②在学习环境中发挥领导作用并进行宣传,以便发展对性别问题有敏感认识的学校;

③提高女孩在非洲教育系统中的入学率和留校率;

④对整个非洲大陆的女孩和妇女教育和培训情况进行更有效的分析。

The International Centre for the Education of Girls and Women in Africa (CIEFFA) has been a specialized agency of the African Union since 2004. In 2005, CIEFFA became a Category II Centre under the auspices of UNESCO at the thirty third session of the general conference, with its centre in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Its goals include

developing the policies, guidelines, strategies and guidance to help all stakeholders to address gender equality and equity issues

playing a leading role in the learning environment and to advocate for the development of gender sensitive schools

increasing girls' enrolment and retention in the African education system, 

conducting more effective analysis of girls and womeneducation and training.
