of Girls and Women in Africa
非洲国际女童和妇女教育国际中心（CIEFFA）自2004年以来一直是非洲联盟的一个专门机构，于2005年在大会第三十三届会议上成为联合国教科文组织的二类机构，其中心设在中心设在布基纳法索的瓦加杜古。其目标是

The International Centre for the Education of Girls and Women in Africa (CIEFFA) has been a specialized agency of the African Union since 2004. In 2005, CIEFFA became a Category II Centre under the auspices of UNESCO at the thirty third session of the general conference, with its centre in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Its goals include：
①developing the policies, guidelines, strategies and guidance to help all stakeholders to address gender equality and equity issues；
②playing a leading role in the learning environment and to advocate for the development of gender sensitive schools；
③increasing girls' enrolment and retention in the African education system,
④conducting more effective analysis of girls and women' education and training.
