IHE Delft Institute for Water Education
联合国教科文组织国际水教育学院(IHE)是2003年成立于荷兰,由联合国教科文组织和荷兰政府共同成立的联合国教科文组织的一类机构。IHE的使命是加强水务部门实现全球可持续发展的能力。自从2003年成为联合国教科文组织的一部分以来,该研究所已成为联合国系统中唯一被授予认可的硕士学位的机构。其前身国际基础设施、水利与环境工程研究院从1957年起就开始开设水文工程学研究生文凭的课程,为发展中国家的行内人提供实践教育的机会。
IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (IHE) was established in the Netherlands in 2003. It is a Category I Institute jointly established by UNESCO and the Dutch government. The mission of IHE is to strengthen the capacity of the water sector to achieve global sustainable development. Since becoming part of UNESCO in 2003, IHE has become the only institution in the United Nations system to be awarded an accredited master's degree. Its predecessor-the International Institute of infrastructure, water conservancy and environmental engineering-has been offering Postgraduate Diploma courses in hydro logical engineering since 1957, and providing practical education opportunities for professionals in developing countries.
